The Scottish Childminding Association promotes childcare quality throughout Scotland. As a registered charity and Company Limited by Guarantee, SCMA endeavours to lead policy, deliver information and training, helping achieve high standards of childminding in Scotland.

Requirement

Etellect were tasked with developing a multifunctional intranet system for The Scottish Childminding Association.  This system would provide a means to manage memberships, ecommerce, staff and marketing.

The system would be accessible to all employees and would allow SCMA to take many of their offline processes online, saving time and money.

Solution

Etellect developed a highly functional intranet system, using the latest in .NET technology. Integrated into the solution are many of Etellect’s products including:

The intranet solution is easily accessible online. The system is completely secure as each staff member is equipped with a username and password, giving members and staff peace of mind.
Further to this SCMA have complete control over web content and membership, as well as a reporting module capable of delivering customisable information.

Future

Etellect deliver ongoing support and hosting to SCMA, and will continue to work closely with them as they develop a solid technology infrastructure for the organisation.
